In addition to the sumi e, this is the first time you might be seeing these watercolors. Many of you love American artist, Georgia O’Keefe, as much as I have. Her watercolors are my inspiration for this new series. These paintings are, like the sumi e paintings, based on quotes from Zen poetry, haiku, and koans or other poets.

These are on wonderful paper from Japan (originally used for printing) I’ve recently discovered and love the feel of.
