Sketching outdoors at Littleton Farms last week with my Denver Urban Sketchers made me happy. I felt like I was getting back in the groove of arting around and returning to the computer where I share with you, my dear fans…
We had attended Littleton Farms a year ago. Once again we had a great turn-out for this event, which I schedule on Denver Urban Sketchers in Meetups. I was enjoying myself so much I forgot to take a group photo this year, discovering later I had deleted many in my old computer as I tried to save storage space before it died. Alas.
Littleton Farms and other places we go as Denver Urban Sketching
I’m especially partial to this location on the site of Littleton Farms. It’s very authentic down to the timbers and flanked by the yellow “Harrison’s Rose” brought west also by pioneers.
But here’s one of our sketchers happily at work despite hobbling in her foot boot! Everyone agreed it was a wonderful afternoon. Next month we plan to go to Denver Botanic Gardens for outdoor sketching, including a new sculpture exhibition there. Other times we are indoors, like when we went to Capital Tea! Join us!
