What a happy experience we had Finding our Hearts and Souls in the Sumi Brushwork Workshop at Foothills Art Center on a beautiful October day in Colorado!

“Finding Heart and Soul in Sumi e Abstract Brushwork” at Foothills AC

Students meditate, observe, go deeply into paintings both they themselves as well as myself have made, finding the meaning that is within their own hearts. Because of our intention, participants feel deeper resonance than they would have had otherwise. At one point, we draw a line “in the sand” on a sheet of paper with our brushes. We truly expect things on the other side to be invitational, special, to hold some kind of manifestation or insight.
